What happens if Lightning license server goes down?

Lightning relies on its license server - lightning.devs.mx. Yep, that sucks - but there is no other way to protect it from hacking for sure.

If something happens with license server, Lightning will get disabled and your shop will continue working without speed up.

There is nothing to worry about - license server is up and running for 6 years already. It runs at DigitalOcean and is payed automatically from licenses purchases account.
